Oh dear...TiVo slowness

The responsiveness of the TiVo's interface is confusing. A lot of the time it's fast enough, although sometimes it's embarrassingly slow. I took the below video to show Moe UK on the Tivo Community forum the Youtube app.....



As you can see the Apps seem to be unavailable, but thought I'd upload the video as an example of slowness on occasion going from live TV to the home screen. I just happened to be recording for this

    slow cheap processor, why not get a 1Ghz inside

    any idea what make and model the processor is in these? If it's really too slow, I doubt there'll be much tweaking to come from VM?

    I thought i read somewhere, it was a 4 or 500Mhz processor, having trouble finding the article though, sorry

    No worries, if you do find it be sure to post! I'm interested in whats inside. Would seem crazy to pack a <1Ghz in there, even my mobile phone has a 1Ghz CPU in it! :O
